How to track changes in Share of Voice over time in Ahrefs

How it works

  1. First click on "Site Explorer" in the top navigation menu
  2. Then enter your website domain or URL in the search bar
  3. Next click the search button
  4. In Overview, click on the "General" tab
  5. Next click the "Competitors" dropdown button
  6. Then add competitors in the competitors popup
  7. Click on "Apply" button to confirm adding competitors
  8. Click on the "Performance" metrics dropdown menu
  9. Select "Share of Voice" from the performance metrics dropdown
  10. Click on the date range dropdown in top right to view changes for different time periods
  11. Then from the dropdown menu select your preferred date range
  12. Alternatively, for more precision, click on the "Custom Range"
  13. Then, specify the start and end dates by selecting "From" and "To"
  14. Finally, click on "Apply" button to confirm the custom date range
  15. Now, you can view the detailed metrics for that specific date to analyze the data further
