  1. First click on the gear icon in the top right corner to access settings
  2. Then click on "Setup" in the settings dropdown menu
  3. Next click on the "Quick Find" search box in the left sidebar and type "Chatter"
  4. Then click on "Chatter Settings" under the Feature Settings section
  5. Click the "Edit" button to modify Chatter settings
  6. Enable the "Out of Office" option by checking the checkbox
  7. Click "Save" to apply the Chatter settings changes
  8. Click on the profile picture icon in the top right corner
  9. Click on your to open the profile settings
  10. Select "Out of Office" in the profile modal window
  11. Enable the "Set Out-of-Office message" option by checking the checkbox
  12. Fill in the required Out of Office dates and message fields
  13. Finally click "Save" to set your Out of Office status
