Here is how to rename a "submitted" ticket state in intercom
- First click on "Settings" in the left sidebar menu
- Then click on "Inbox" section in the settings menu
- Next click on "Tickets" item under the Inbox section
- Then click on "Ticket states" tab in the tickets settings
- Next click on the edit icon next to the state
- In the edit modal, click on the field and enter the new name
- Finally click on "Save" button in the top-right corner of the edit modal
