How to analyze competitor keyword gaps in Semrush

How it works

  1. First click on the "SEO" tab in the main navigation menu
  2. In the left-hand sidebar, click "Organic Research" under the "Competitive Research" section
  3. Enter your domain in the domain input field
  4. Click "Search" to open the Organic Research report
  5. Navigate to the "Competitors" tab
  6. Scroll down to the “Competitive Positioning Map” and the list of organic competitors
  7. Click on a competitor’s domain to view their organic keyword profile
