  1. First click on the gear icon in the top menu bar to access Setup

  6. Enter the information for your desired Action Type
  7. Click "Save" button to save the new action configuration
  8. Click the "Save" button again
  9. Click "Home" tab in the top navigation to return to Setup home
  10. In the left sidebar, click on "Publisher Layouts"
  11. In the Publisher Layouts section, locate and click on "Mobile & Lightning Actions"
  12. Click and hold the action you just created
  13. Drag and drop it on the interface
  14. In the top toolbar of the Publisher Layouts page, click "Save" to finalize all changes
