Here is how to activate and configure generative replies in zendesk

  1. First in the Admin Center, click on "Channel" in the left sidebar
  2. Then click on "AI agents" under "AI agents and automation"
  3. Next click on "Manage AI agents for messaging" link in the messaging section
  4. Click on your desire AI agent from the AI agents list
  5. Click the "Behavior" tab in the AI agent settings
  6. Click on the "If the AI agent can't answer the question" section to expand it
  7. Generative replies is activate by default for an AI agent in Zendesk
  8. Enter the message you want the AI to use in the message field
  9. Next click the "Test AI agent" button in the top action bar
  10. Enter sample queries in the test chat input field and click "Send" button to see how the bot will reply
  11. You'll see that it uses the message you added and configured to use when it cannot answer the question
  12. Then once satisfied, click the "Publish AI agent" button at the top to publish the changes
  13. Generative replies are now activated and configured successfully
