How to log time in Asana

How it works

  1. First click on a project in the left sidebar under Projects section
  2. Then click on the "Customize" button in the top-right corner of the project view
  3. Next click on the "Fields" option in the customization panel
  4. Then click on "Browse library" button in the Fields panel
  5. Click the empty search text field at the upper middle
  6. Type "Actual time" in the search field at the top of the Field gallery
  7. Click on the "Actual time" field item in the suggested option
  8. Click the customize button again in the upper right to return to the main project view
  9. Click into the empty time input field to log time
  10. Type the time you want to enter in the time input field
  11. Click on "Save" button in the time entry popup
