  1. First click on the "Content" option in the left sidebar
  2. Then click on "Knowledge Base" item in the Content menu
  3. Next click the "Configure" dropdown menu button in the top navigation bar
  4. Select "Categories" from the dropdown menu
  5. Click on "Create category" button in the categories management view
  6. In the dialog box, enter a name for the category in the "Category name" field
  7. Add a brief description of the category in the "Category description" field
  8. Click on "Knowledge base home display" in the left panel
  9. Here you can configure the category appearance, icons, or featured articles
  10. Finally once done, click on the "Create category" button at the bottom of the form
