How to add subtask details in Asana

How it works

  1. First click on a project in the left sidebar under Projects section
  2. Then click on a task in the project list view
  3. Click on the small "Subtask" menu icon to create a subtask
  4. In the task details panel, click on empty text input field
  5. Type in the desired name for the subtask and hit enter on your keyboard
  6. Click on the subtask to open up the details panel
  7. Click on "No assignee" field to add details
  8. Type  in the name or email of the assignee
  9. Select the person you want to add from the suggested dropdown option
  10. Click on "No due date" field for the subtask
  11. Select the due date in the date picker
