How to add macros in Zendesk

Here is how to add macros in zendesk

  1. First click on "Views"  in the left sidebar
  2. Then, from the main ticket list, locate and select the ticket where you want to apply a macro
  3. Next click on "Apply macro" button at the bottom of the ticket details
  4. Select the macro you want to use and click the "Preview" icon next to it
  5. In the macro dialog window, review the pre-written message and click "Apply Macro" button
  6. You can still make any necessary edits before proceeding
  7. Finally, click "Submit as Pending" button at the bottom right
  8. The ticket will be updated with the applied macro created and sent to the intended recipient
