How to disable link previews in Slack
Here is how to disable link previews in slack
- First click on the profile avatar in the bottom left sidebar
- Then click on "Preferences" option from the profile menu
- Next click on "Messages & media" option in the left sidebar of the Preferences dialog
- Then scroll down the page to "Infinite media & links"
- Next click on "Show images and files from linked websites" checkbox to check it
- Then click on "Show text previews of linked websites" checkbox to uncheck it
- Next scroll up in the Preferences dialog content area
- Finally click on the close button in the top right corner of the Preferences dialog
