Here is how to delete a tab in a channel in slack

First click on the channel name in the sidebar under the Channels section
Then click on the three dots menu button in the top-right corner of the channel header
Next select "Edit settings" option from the dropdown menu
Then click on "Settings" tab in the channel settings dialog
After that scroll down and click on "Delete this channel" button at the bottom of the settings
Then click on the "Yes, permanently delete the channel" checkbox in the confirmation dialog
Finally click on "Delete Channel" button to confirm the deletion
