How to create nested subtasks in Asana

How it works

  1. First click on a project in the left sidebar projects menu
  2. Then click on the task that has a subtask in the main content area
  3. Scroll down through the details panel
  4. Next click on the existing subtask to open another details panel
  5. Scroll down again through the details panel
  6. Click on the "Add subtask" button in the subtask section
  7. Finally type the name for the second subtask and press Enter on your keyboard Asana automatically saves the changes
