How to change the assignee of a task in ClickUp

  1. First find and open the task whose assignee you want to change
  2. Next in the task details panel, click on the "Assignees" field (usually showing the current assignee's profile icon)
  3. Then in the dropdown menu, deselect the current assignee by clicking their name
  4. Finally select the new assignee from the list
