1. First open any Channel or direct message where you want to share a file
2. Next click on the file attachment icon in the message input toolbar
3. Click on "Upload file" or choose a cloud storage option from the dropdown menu and from your device, select the file you want to attach
4. Then, once the file is uploaded, start writing your message
5. Finally, click the "Send" icon to submit your message and file
