How to add subtask to a task template in Asana

How it works

  1. First click on a project in the left sidebar under Projects section
  2. Click on "Customize" button in the top-right corner of the project view
  3. Select "Task templates" option from the customization sidebar
  4. Click the menu dots (…) button next to the name of the task template you want to add a subtask to
  5. Choose "Edit" option from the dropdown menu
  6. Scroll down
  7. Click "Add subtask" button in the task template edit form
  8. Type the name of the subtask you want to add
  9. Then fill out the necessary information needed for your subtask
  10. Finally click "Done" button in the bottom-right corner to save the task template changes
