Here is how to set a status to expire in 30 minutes in github
- First click on your profile picture in the top right header
- Click on "Set status" option in the profile dropdown menu
- In the "What's happening" field, type a status message
- Click on the emoji button
- From the emoji dropdown list, choose an emoji for your status
- Optionally, if you'd like to share that you have limited availability, select "Busy"
- Next click on the "Expiration" dropdown
