  1. First click on a project in the left sidebar
  2. Then click on "Board" tab in the project navigation menu
  3. Next click the task you want to add an assignee to in board view
  4. Click on the "No assignee" field in the task details panel
  5. Click the "Name or email" input field and type the name or email of the team member you want to assign
  6. Then select the member result from the suggested menu to assign
  7. Finally click the arrow button on the top right to close the task details panel Asana automatically saves the changes
