Here is how to add open-ended questions in surveymonkey
- On your SurveyMonkey dashboard, choose the survey you want to edit from your list
- Then click on "DESIGN SURVEY" tab in the survey navigation menu
- Scroll down and click “+ New Question” where you want to add a question
- Enter the question you would like to add
- Click and browse the list of question types in the right-hand panel
- Select either "Single Textbox" for short answers or "Comment Box" for longer responses
- Click "Save" to add it to your survey
