  1. First from the main dashboard, click on a board to open it
  2. Then, on the board, select any object to bring up the formatting toolbar (e.g., a shape or text)
  3. Next click on the color button in the top toolbar to open the color picker
  4. In the color palette that appears, click the "+" (plus) icon to add a new custom color
  5. Then, use your mouse to select your desired color on the spectrum and customize the shade
  6. Alternatively, enter directly a HEX code into the HEX field (e.g: #1E90FF)
  7. To select a color directly from your board, click the dropper icon
  8. Once done, the new color will be saved and added to your color palette for easy future access
