How to duplicate a task template in Asana

How it works

  1. First click on a project in the left sidebar
  2. Then click on "Add task" dropdown button in the main content area
  3. Next select the task template you want to duplicate from the dropdown menu
  4. Click the arrow button next to the task to open the details panel
  5. Click on the "More actions" menu (three dots) in the task details panel
  6. Then click on "Duplicate task" option from the more actions menu
  7. Click the checkbox in the include options for the information you want to include for the duplicate task
  8. Finally click the "Create new task option" to duplicate the task template
