Here is how to create a task from calendar view in clickup

  1. First click on the Calendar view where you want to create a task
  2. Next navigate to the date you want to set the task's due date
  3. Then hover over the date and click the "+" icon to add a task
  4. Enter the name in the task name field
  5. Click on the flag icon to set task priority
  6. Select a priority level from the dropdown menu
  7. Click on the calendar icon to set the date
  8. In the calendar popup, select the start date
  9. You can also add a Time Estimate and Sprint points if needed
  10. Next click on the assignee icon to add task owners
  11. Select the user(s) to assign the task from the assignees dropdown
  12. Click on the List title field to change the task's location
  13. Select a list from the lists dropdown
  14. Finally click the "Save" button to create the task
  15. Once created the task will appear in your Calendar view
