How to set your status in GitHub

Here is how to set your status in github

First click on your profile picture in the top right header
Next click on "Set status" in the profile dropdown menu
In the "What's happening" field, type a status message
Next click on the emoji button to select an emoji
From the emoji dropdown list, choose an emoji for your status
Optionally, if you'd like to share that you have limited availability, select "Busy"
Then click on the "Expiration" dropdown menu
Select when you want your status to expire from the expiration options
Click the "Visible to" dropdown menu, then click who you want your status visible to
Finally click on the "Set status" button to save the status
Your status is now visible on your GitHub profile
