Here is how to add a time entry from the quick action menu in clickup

  1. First click the Quick Action menu in the upper-right corner of the toolbar
  2. Next click on the "Track Time" icon in the quick access menu
  3. Click on the "Select task" dropdown in the time tracking panel
  4. Then select the task where you want to track time from the task list
  5. Next click on the "Enter time" field to add time manually
  6. The enter the amount of time worked (e.g., 30m or 2h25m) and press "Enter"
  7. Next select a date and time range to specify when the work was done
  8. Mark the entry as billable or non-billable and add a note or time tracking tags if needed
