How it works
1. First locate and hover over the message you want to edit in any Channel or direct message
2. Next click the "More options" button (three dots) in the message actions menu that appears
3. Select the "Edit" option from the dropdown menu
4. Then make your changes to the message
5. Finally once done, click the "Save" button to confirm the changes
