How to delete an issue type in your GitHub organization
Here is how to delete an issue type in your github organization
- First click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the header
- Next click on "Organizations" in the dropdown menu
- Click on the "Settings" button next to the organization you want to manage
- Click on the "Planning" in the left sidebar under "Code, planning, and automation" section
- After that, click on "Issue types" in the Planning submenu
- Locate the issue type you want to delete in the list
- Next click on the options menu (three dots) next to it
- From the dropdown menu, click on "Delete" option
- Then type the issue type's name in the confirmation text field
- Finally click on "Delete" button to confirm the deletion
